When, on one day, some of his students requested him to allow them to celebrate his birthday. In response, Dr. Radhakrishnan said, "instead of celebrating my birthday separately, it would be my proud privilege if September 5th is observed as Teacher's day". From that day onwards, Dr. Radhakrishnan's birthday is observed as Teacher's Day all across The India.

On this day senior group of school dress up and pose as teacher, students will teach other students on a teacher’s behalf, to prove that “They Taught You To Teach Tomorrow “ some entertain the teachers by their skills, and give gifts so as to award them. This day is nothing less than a holiday for a teacher, an entire day for teachers to enjoy.

Teachers are carving tomorrow. Teachers are the one who mold the young and innocent minds. They give path to a wanderer (A person with no fixed direction)they will light out your way to success, they are the one to who are in charge for youths and try to make them better human being. They devote their life completely to the students.

Teachers teach and treat each and every student by the same token and moderately, for them no child is of any different cast or religious they all belong to the student group only. They are the one responsible for future of the Nation.
