As Talkatora means "something like a cup". So this park has bowl shaped topography of the land which gives the Talkatora Garden its name. This garden attracts tourists in great numbers especially during spring when richly hued flowers begin to bloom. Ornamented with varied flora, this garden also boasts of its playground where games are conducted and shows held. Garden Talkatora is metamorphosed into a beautiful land where different hued flowers blooms. Each cries out for attention and each with its own special significance. Apart from this the sprawling gardens also serve as a perfect venue for various programs, shows and competitions held round the year. It is a good picnic and relaxing spot with numerous shady trees, potted plants and colorful flowers offering a peaceful ambience. Shows are also organized for children to develop their interest inthe science of horticulture.
Three big gateways hoard the Talkatora Garden, a cosmic delight of meandering waterways, verdant stretches and vibrant flowers.
