Procedure of getting a New Ration Card
When applying for new ration card form 1 needed to filled on payment of 50 paise from any circle office. Where as applying for Blue Card application form is free of cost , this card is for kerosene oil supply.
Application/Documents Required to Apply for New Ration Card :
- Three passport size photographs of head of family attested by a gazetted officer/MLA/MP/Municipal Councillor.
- Proof of residence - in case of owner, Registration Deed, Allotment Letter, Power of Attorney, House Tax Receipt etc. - in case of tenant, NOC of landlord or any other relevant document.
- Surrender/Deletion certificate of the previous card if any.
Procedure of getting any updation in the Ration Card
For addition or deletion of any member form no.2 has to be filled and submitted.
For any changes in the card like wrong date of birth, address or spelling mistake in name, form no.3 has to be filled and submitted.
The form J applicable in the case you shift outside the circle or leave Delhi.
You can present the duly filled in hard copy at your Circle Office on any working day between 9.30 to 1:00 pm.
