Procedure of getting a New Ration Card
The application form 1 needed to apply for new consumer/ration card on payment of 50 paise. There is no charge for Blue Card application form.
Application/Documents Required to Apply for New Ration Car :
- Three passport size photographs of head of family attested by a gazetted officer/MLA/MP/Municipal Councillor.
- Proof of residence - in case of owner, Registration Deed, Allotment Letter, Power of Attorney, House Tax Receipt etc. - in case of tenant, NOC of landlord or any other relevant document.
- Surrender/Deletion certificate of the previous card.

You can present the duly filled in hard copy at your Circle Office on any working day between 9.30 to 1:00 pm.
For addition or deletion of any member to or from the ration card, you can apply in the form no.2
You can apply in the form no.3 for any changes in your card.
The form J applicable in the case you shift outside the circle or leave Delhi.
