New Delhi it is today one of city leading green areas and a venue for tourists in Delhi. Nehru Park of Delhi one of the finest parks is situated on the main Panchsheel Road, near Chanakyapuri Diplomatic Enclave. Spread over an area of almost 80 acres. It serves as an ideal picnic spot and well known for young courting couples of the capital. Due to the pleasant and peaceful ambience of the park, it has recently become quite popular among Delhiites. This vast park is crowded by people all the time. You can see a huge crowd of people from all ages. This park is of great attraction especially for young people. The nearby college goers generally tend to hang out in the park even there is heavy traffic in the evening time.

Apart from the greenery of park 'Morning Ragas'- the musical concerts and the art events that are organized every Sunday morning are the major attractions. World famous musicians and vocalists of India perform in these concerts that are usually held for two hours amidst the landscaped lush gardens of the Nehru Park. The experience of listening to the melodious music, in the cool morning hours of the much-awaited weekend, is ecstasy for a music lover. Free yoga classes are the centre of attraction organized by the Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corp (DTTDC) and the education department, as part of the Delhi Government's initiative to keep the residents of Delhi fit and happy. Besides this the park also serves as a venue for many stately dinners. There is also a    swimming pool and a snack bar in the park.
Nehru Park looks especially beautiful during spring season when most of its flowering plants are in full bloom. The park is becoming very popular with joggers, morning walkers, picnickers and young couples.

Location: Park located on the main Panchsheel Road in Chanakyapuri Diplomatic Enclave, next to the popular Santushti Shopping Complex.

How to Reach: Tourists can either take local buses from various points within the city to reach the park or they can hire auto-rickshaws and taxis or metro rail.
