Dyal Singh College was established in
1959 and taken over by the
University of Delhi in 1978. The
co-educational College has come up as a sought- after option among all the off –
campus Colleges offering courses in all academic. There is a Metro station nearby
Principal I S Bakshi says:-
“We have good record in sports, specially boxing. Our College boxing and athletic teams have won many inter-Colleges and inter- varsity championships. We expect all our students to be regular in classes and also take part in extra – curricular activities”

Dyal Singh College: Facilities
The library houses over 80,000 books. It also has well- equipped science labs, a seminar room, various departmental societies, arts & culture society and a spacious canteen. A lab with 80 computers is being set up with a high-speed intranet/internet facility. A lift for the differently able, a basketball court, a large playground and other games facilities are also available. A new science block is under construction
