DDA housing scheme opens from:
Delhi Development Authority announced that the DDA housing scheme will starts from 25th of November 2010 to 24th of December 2010.

Latest conditions for Applicants:-
1. Applicants must read the terms & conditions given in the brochurecarefully.
2. Allotment will be on Freehold and on as-is-where-is basis. The title shall be transferred only when Conveyance Deed is executed in favor of the allotee.
3. One Person can submit one Application only.
4. Applicant must have a Permanent Account Number (PAN) allotted under the Income Tax Act and a Bank Account.
5. Payment of Registration money as cost of the flat will have to be made only from Applicants Account through Banker’s Cheque / Demand Draft only.
6. Please note that a copy of Demand-cum-Allotment letter of the successful applicant will be forwarded to the Commissioner, Income Tax, New Delhi.
7. People are advised not to be misled or influenced by promises of assured allotment from unscrupulous persons / property dealers.
8. People are urged to get all information about this Scheme only from DDA or its Authorized Banks.
9. For any mis-representation or concealment of facts or if the amount is not paid from the allottees account or if any DDA property is found in the name of the applicant, in such cases, the allotment will be cancelled, amount forfeited and the applicant liable for legal action.
10. Last date for submission of Application form is 24.12.2010.

Credentials for DDA housing scheme’s Applicants:
There are some criteria for applicants who are going to apply DDA housing scheme as:

 

1. Any Indian citizen of age 18 can apply to this DDA housing scheme and cost of form is Rs.105 and it will be available at various designated branches of the banks.
2. The brochure will be uploaded on the website of DDA on November 25. One person can submit only one application. The applicant can apply only if he has a valid pan card and a bank account.
3. Both husband and wife can apply but only one will be allotted a flat in case both are successful in the draw.
4. The applicant will have to deposit a registration fee of Rs 1.5 lakh. But for the Janta one-room tenement category, the amount is Rs 50,000.
5. The reservations for scheduled castes will be 17%, scheduled tribes 7.5%, one per cent for war widows, one per cent for the physically handicapped and one per cent for ex-Servicemen.

 

Documents with DDA Application Form 2010:- There are some documents must be needed to fill up the form like:-

For General Category:-
1. Self attested Copy of PAN card, allotted by Income Tax Department.
2. Proof of residence e.g. self attested copy of passport or identity card or election card or ration card or driving license or telephone bill or electricity bill or water bill or house tax receipt or bank pass book or CGHS card.
3. Self attested copy of bank Pass Book/ Statement of account mentioned in the application form.

 

For Reserved Category:- Persons who applying under any of the reserved categories have to submit:-
1. An attested copy of the original certificate from the District Magistrate/Sub Divisional Magistrate of the area concerned in case the applicant belongs to the Reserved Category of SC/ST.
2. An attested copy of the original certificate issued by the Medical Board of a Govt. Hospital in case the applicant is applying under the reserved category of physically handicapped persons.
3. An attested copy of Discharge Certificate from the competent authority of Ministry of Defence / Dept. of Defence in case of Ex-serviceman. An attested copy of “Requisite Certificate” issued by the Ministry of Defence/Dept. of Defence, in case applicant comes under Reserved Category of war-widow.
4. An applicant not submitting the requisite documents will not be considered for allotment under the Reserved Category and will be treated under the General Category.

DDA Flats Location in Delhi:
Delhi Development Authority offers around 16,000 flats for the draw. And thses DDA Flats are located all over Delhi in colonies like Vasant Kunj, Mukherjee Nagar, Motia Khan, Jasola, Dwarka, Rohini, Narela, Jaffarabad, Kondli and Gharoli besides other colonies.
The cheapest flats are available at Rs 1,536 per sq ft, the more expensive ones are priced at Rs 6,069 per sq ft.

DDA Housing Lottery Draw 2010:
Applicants find the result of the computerised draw which will be displayed on the DDA website. The draw will be held within a period of four months from the last date of closure of the scheme and, therefore, no interest will be paid for this period. Unsuccessful applicants will be refunded at the earliest, and in case the money is not refunded within four months time from the closure of the scheme, simple interest at the rate of 5% per annum will be paid. The refund as in the earlier scheme will be paid through the banks only.
