Tejas Express by Private Operators

Tejas Express is one of India’s semi-high speed full AC fleet introduced by Indian Railways connecting New Delhi in Delhi and Lucknow Junction in Uttar Pradesh. On 4 October 2019 The train started its operations , on the occasion of Navaratris.It is India's first train operated by private operators, IRCTC, a subsidiary of Indian Railways.
Coach Composition :
There are 12 AC Chair Car  Coaches and they are up to  78 seats for passengers each (3+2) configuration and 1 Executive Class coach (in 2+2 configuration). The Executive Class coach has a capacity of 56 passengers  leg support, arm support  and adjustable head-rests, and doors are centrally controlled.
 
Indian Railways has designed it with features of LED screen display to show information about stations, train speed, etc. and will have an announcement system as well,Vending machines for tea, coffee and milk, Bio toilets in compartments as well as CCTV cameras, water level indicators, tap sensors, integrated braille displays,hand dryers,  LED TV for each passenger with phone sockets, local cuisine, celebrity chef menu, coffee and tea vending machines,WiFi,magazines, snack tables, smoke detection & fire and suppression system. On-board catering service charges are included in the fare.
Schedules :
Tejas Express starts from Lucknow Junction at 06:10 a.m. and arrives New Delhi at 12:25 pm. On its return journey, the train departs from  Delhi at 3.35 pm and arrives Lucknow at 10.05 pm. The train is having two stops at  Ghaziabad and Kanpur Central runs on all days of a week, except Tuesday.
Other facilities :
IRCTC, the operator of this train announced that  for the first time in Indian rail history ever passengers will be reimburse for  the train delay.  If the train is being delay more than one Hour , the passengers will be payed 100/- and 250/- will be paid for delay over two hours. Along with this free travel insurance worth ₹25 lakh (US$35,000) and on-board infomercial services, doorstep baggage collection and local food are provided. There is  no Tatkal quota will be available for this train.
