Summer Camp, 2011 awaited with lo of excitement by kids. While experimenting with different ways to beat the heat,
kids are enjoying their
vacationa while learning new and execiting things! Shipra Mall has brought another improvised opportunity through their ongoing
four-week long summer camp divided into different batches to suit everyone’s time and schedule.
The camp that was flagged off on
May23 concludes on June 18. The camp offers a fun based educational event and focuses on new curriculum for the kids, with new activities every day. Kids are enjoying ample choices and chances to win
prizes and gifts to boost their morale. With the inclusion of activities like cartooning and sketching on touch screen pads, animation techniques, disaster management and rain water harvesting, the mall is in the process of talking its existing camp’s database to another level of info – ‘edutainment’ matching the tech savvy kids info their experimental world of technology on their finger tips.

Children are being encouraged to make their own robotic machines and are thus learning basic programming involved, gear and pulley motor,
mathematical skills and advanced functioning. Main highlights include paper
craft, painting workshop, potter workshop, power yoga and dance. The mall has also included special workshops from
5 to 6 pm every day offering excitement and learning to the accompanying moms of the tiny tots which include mocktail making classes, makeover sessions, recipe and hair styling classes, so that the young moms also go back enriched with some additional house
management skills.
Speaking on the occasion of the inauguration of the camp,
Manik Dhodi, head mall operations, said, “After receiving an overwhelming response from last summer camp, its management is delighted to organize this camp in a row for enthusiastic kids and its loyal patrons. The mall wishes to make the summers of their customers cool and at the same time provide them with
ample opportunities to learn, to have fun and to make friends.” The management, he said, had worked hard to come up with such an event in the city while keeping safety concerns of all attendees in mind.
