Talkatora Garden is located at Wellingdon Crescent the literal meaning of the word ‘Talkatora’ is ‘shape of cup or a bowl.’ The topography of Talkatora is in the shape of a cup.
Mughal Garden
The name itself speaks that it is suppose to be a luxury garden. This garden was made for during the Mughals period and toddling over its grasses seems like walking on a green carpet. It is located at the rear of Rashtrapati Bhawan. Exotic varieties of roses are the main attraction here.
Lodhi Garden
Located near India International Centre (ICC), Lodhi Garden is the perfect place for bird watcher and romantic couple. The garden also attracts morning joggers on regular basis. The garden has forest type ambiance.
Children’s Park
Children’s Park is famous among children. It is located near to India Gate. One can enjoy watching small kids playing, swinging and sliding in the park.
Buddha Jayanti Park
West of Rajpath lies the Buddha Jayanti Park. It is famous for inhabiting wide varieties of flowers and trees. One can sense Buddhahood ingrained in every part of the park.
Millennium Indraprastha Park
Located near to Sarai Kale Khan Bus terminal, Millennium Park is another landmark from where the Humayun’s tomb can be seen. It is spread over an area of twenty acres.
