Time stopped still at Rajouri Garden in West Delhi as over 50 people all dressed as collegians, shopkeepers and Delhi residents suddenly appeared and shook a leg at the latest Bollywood chartbusters. Before anyone could blink an eye, the number of dancers joining the group kept increasing. And it reached a crescendo when the popular tune was of Dance India Dance which has become an anthem in India was played. The dancers in the flash mob took everyone by surprise as they performed the high voltage act.
Another similar dance mob of dancers floored over several audiences yesterday at PVR Anupam (Saket) & Satyam (Janakpuri) during the intervals of the much movie. With the aim to create a buzz on the upcoming new edition of India’s No 1 dance reality show, Dance India Dance (DID), flash mobs were conducted in various locations like Rajouri Garden market, PVR Anupam (Saket) & PVR Satyam (Janakpuri).
Similar activity was done in Mumbai in Church gate station, Eros cinema, Fashion Street & Flora fountain.
After a hiatus of almost two years the magical trio – Geeta Kapoor, Remo D’Souza and Terence Lewis - who made Dance India Dance the biggest and the most prestigious dance reality show, are back on the show and this time, they are searching for a dancer who eats, lives and breathes dance; in short - ONE WHO IS BORN TO DANCE! It’s surely going to be bigger and better while setting up a new benchmark for the aspiring dancers.
