Buddhist museum to come up in Greater Noida

After high rise buildings, educational hub, IT zones and industrial units, Greater Noida is soon going to have North India’s first Buddhist Museum and research Centre. A state-of-the-art Buddhist Museum and Research Centre spread over 25 acres of land within the Gautam Budh University campus has been approved recently at the Greater Noida Authority’s board meeting Estimated to cost Rs 84 crore, the museum will house art galleries, exhitbition centre, class room, sculpture sections. The museum will also organize various cultural workshops. According to Mohinder Singh, chairman, Greater Noida Development Authority, “Such projects would create a new benchmark in higher education, training and research. Architect CP Kukreja and Associates has prepared the concept and master plan of the project. The project is expected to be completed by 2012.”

Our meticulously designed curriculum and pedagogical training programmers stay focused on imparting all necessary knowledge required and desired for creating humane and rational society,” said SR Lakha, Vice Chancellor, Gautam Buddha University.

Gautam Buddha University, which was established by the Noida-Greater Noida Authority is being run in 511 acres of lush green campus at Greater Noida.
