Welcome to 2012 FORMULA 1 AIRTEL INDIAN GRAND PRIX of India scheduled at Buddh International Circuit (BIC) Formula One, is a motor racing championship for Formula One cars, and is the 63rd Formula One season  also known as Formula 1 or F1 or Grand Prix ( from French , originally meaning grand prizes),  and referred to officially as the FIA Formula One World Championship, is the highest class of single seater auto racing sanctioned by the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The F1 , designated in the name , refers to a set of rules with which all participants cars must comply. The F1 season consists of a series of races, held on purpose-built circuits and occasionally on street circuits or public roads. The result of each race are combined to determine two annual FIA Formula One World Championships, one for the Drivers who are required to be holders of valid Super License, the highest class of racing license issued by the FIA and one for the Constructors.

Formula One cars are among the fastest circuit-racing cars in the world, owing to very high speeds of up to 318 km/h (192 mph) with engines limited in performance to a maximum of 18,000 revolutions per minute (RPM)
 
BUDDH INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT
The festival of Dussehra will be followed by one of the biggest sporting spectacle, 2012 FORMULA 1 AIRTEL INDIAN GRAND PRIX at Buddh International Circuit (BIC), located in Greater Noida. BIC is located just 35 km from New Delhi. The Buddh International Circuit is an Indian motor racing circuit in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, near the national capital New Delhi. The circuit is best known as the venue for the annual Formula One Indian Grand Prix, which was first hosted in 2011.The track was officially inaugurated on 18 October 2011. The 5.14 km long Circuit has been designed by world-renowned German architect and racetrack designer, Herman Tilke, who has also designed other race circuits in Malaysia, Bahrain, China, Turkey, the UAE, South Korea and the US. The track is the jewel in the crown of Jaypee Sports City being developed in 2500 acres, comprising a number of world class sporting venues, stunning residential developments and commercial properties.

The circuit is part of the 2,500 acres (10 km2) Jaypee Greens Sports City, Greens Sports City home which also includes a 100,000 seat cricket stadium, 18-hole golf course, 25,000 seat field hockey stadium and a sports academy have been planned. The sports complex is expected to cost  40 billion ($820 million) and generate $170m of revenue annually, and employ 10,000 people.

HOW TO COMMUTE :
BIC is just 35 km from New Delhi, and near to Noida city centre metro station,Noida and from Noida city centre metro station, there is a direct bus to Greater Noida.
